Two important considerations to note while buying Roman blinds

Roman blind is one of the most preferred options of home owners and corporate clients when it comes to buying conservatory blinds. The multitude of options available on its choice of fabrics, colors, style and operating systems makes this variety of conservatory blind the most loved.

However, if you have any plans of installing Roman blinds in your windows and doors then these multitude of options will be the primary factor that will confuse you utterly. However, the tips we have shared here for you will come in handy. So, start reading ahead.

  • Determine the size of your window

The first important consideration that will determine the selection of an ideal Roman blind is the size of your windows. If you have windows that are perfectly square in shape, outside mounted Roman blinds will be ideal for you as it will conceal the unflattering moulds. On the contrary, an inside mounted window will be perfect for a large, rectangular shaped window.

  • Measurement in the window

Next vital consideration is the total measurement of your windows. In case your windows do not have equal measurements all around, you need to gauge and plot the height of the two sides and the middle portion. Next, you need to measure the opening width of the windows at the center, top and bottom serially. These measurements often vary as per the choice of Wood Blinds and Roman blinds too. For instance, if you intend to install an outside mounted Roman blind then you have to keep an additional buffer of three to four centimeters on all the sides.
